Some background

In order to enable people with disabilities to browse the Internet seamlessly, just like anyone else, we have invested tremendous efforts in building advanced technology that will enable website owners to make their site accessible for use by people with disabilities and expose the existing information on the site to another important population.

The site undertakes to provide the general public browsing the site with content that is as accessible as possible, regardless of the technology in which the site was built. We are working to update and implement the accessibility rules as much as possible, in accordance with the principles of the accessibility standard. The site conforms to Level 2 (AA) accessibility requirements of the standard. W.C.A.G 2 Website accessibility is adapted to the leading browsers:

• Chromium.
• Firefox.
• Explorer 11 or higher.
• Opera.

Using Andi UA

Andy’s menu (did you notice the little character in the logo? Her name is Andy.) knows how to work with the leading browsers:

Chrome, Firefox, Explorer 11 and above, Opera.

Support for factional technologies

Andy supports assistive technologies by using ARIA rules.

How do I use the Andy component?

Andi UA’s technology works on several levels to enable maximum accessibility of the site, both through an accessibility menu and by interfacing with various components of the site.

There is an accessibility menu on site. To open the menu, you can click on the icon located at the top of the site or press the “F10” button on your keyboard. To close the menu, you can press the close button or press on the keyboard the seam “ESC”. F1 to return to this page from anywhere on the site.

When you enter the menu for the first time, you can choose the interface language, which supports multi-language, and the display size you want. At any time, you can change your settings in the setup solver located at the top of the menu.

Clicking on the “Enable Accessibility” button will take you through the accessibility menu consisting of two parts:

Main menu

Text size

Allows you to select and change the size of the text appearing on the site, using a magnifying glass that provides local, spot enlargement under the user’s control and / or by automatically increasing and decreasing the text throughout the site, at the click of a button.

Colors

Allows you to choose and change the colors of the site and create customization from a set of colors, by changing the background colors of the site, the titles on the site or the text on the site, or alternatively, changing the contrast throughout the site, at the click of a button.

How do I customize it?

After selecting the background color, headings, or text, confirm the selection by pressing V, after which the selected color is highlighted on the right side of the selection square.

Mouse accessibility

Allows you to change the mouse cursor color to black or white.

Find your mouse

You can locate the position of the mouse on the screen, by pressing the “CTRL” button.

Underline linking

Allows you to locate links on the site not only by the color of the link, but by underlining the link.

Change font to more readable

The ARIEL font is determined to be the most readable font in accordance with accessibility regulations. The font conversion button allows the site owner to maintain freedom of design in choosing the fonts on the site while giving the disabled person the choice to change the font to ARIEL throughout the site at the click of a button.

Turn on the accessibility menu with the right click of your mouse

Activating this button changes the settings of the right mouse button, so that clicking on it anywhere on the site will trigger a shortened accessibility menu of the main actions. You can disable this function on the lower left side of the menu, which opens by clicking the right mouse button.

Reset all matches

Returns the site to its default settings.

Optimization suggestions

At the bottom of the menu there is a lamp icon that opens a form for providing feedback and suggestions for making the site accessible. Your feedback is important to us to improve accessibility capabilities.

Personal Area Menu (Andy U version only)

This menu allows, by studying the user’s browsing habits, more accessible use of the site.

Continue browsing from where you left off browsing

Allows the surfer to return to the last place where he left off browsing the site on his last visit.

Add this page to favorites

Allows the user to add the specific page within the site to the site’s own favorites list so that he can return to the pages he likes in subsequent browsing.

View your favorites list

Displays the list of pages that you selected.

Support for quick navigation between regions

The site is divided into areas such as a central content area or a side menu area. At the beginning of each region there is a Level 3 heading, indicating the name of the region you reached. Some of the headings are also links that you use to skip over that area, thus helping you get to the desired content faster. For example, there is an option to jump to the main content from the top of the page.

Change the focus color to match the background.

Virtual keyboard for filling out forms

You can display a virtual keyboard for enlargement with the mouse.

Hide mouse cursor as you type

If the mouse cursor is on the form field when you type Andy, make sure to hide it until you finish typing.

Quickly navigate through article chapters

Allows you to open a menu at the top of the article that presents the main chapters in it and allows a quick understanding of the structure of the article and the relevance of its content for me, as well as skipping directly to a specific part within the article.

For your convenience, here are some keyboard shortcuts:

F1 – Help and accessibility statement.
F3 – Search on page
F6 – Back to the address bar (URL).
F5 – Refresh the web page.
F10 – Open / close the accessibility menu.
ESC – Cancellation.
Down arrow – normal scrolling down.
Up arrow – normal scrolling up.
Page Down – Scroll down screen
Shift + Page up space, – Scroll up screen.
Enter – OK / activate links and buttons
TAB – Navigating between links, buttons, and fields in forms.
SHIFT + TAB – Navigate backwards between links, buttons and fields in forms.
BACKSPACE – Deleting text behind the cursor.
DELETE – Deletes text in front of the cursor.
Left Arrow + Alt – Back to the last page we browsed.

How to browse the site easily using a screen reader?

There is extensive form support for assistive technologies. For example: support for error reading by screen reader software.

Making menus accessible

You can easily navigate with the keyboard or screen reader and reach the submenus as well.

Adds support for tittle feature (take tip) for keyboard users

Tool Tip information also appears when navigating with a keyboard.

Support for sliders (rotating slides)

Each slider has a button that makes it easy to switch slides for keyboard users and screen reader software users by laying the slides one under the other. When you press the button, a scroll bar will appear next to it and you can scroll with the arrows or move from slide to slide by pressing a tab on your keyboard.

Physical Accessibility:

For those coming by private car – there are 4 disabled parking spaces for private vehicles, including elevated vehicles  , about 50 meters from the Music Center.
From the parking lot to the music center there is clear signage directing visitors to the front door and there is a continuum of accessibility from the parking spaces to the entrance.

Entrance to the center:

The entrance door to the center is accessible to the disabled.
Access from the entrance to the reception and offices is accessible.
In the center is one concert hall with accessible places for the disabled – it is recommended to verify by phone before arrival that the hall you arrive in is the accessible hall.
On the entrance level there are accessible toilets
Disabled people and people with disabilities are entitled to one chaperone, free of charge. 
The center has assistive hearing aids and guide dogs are allowed.  
In any matter related to accessibility, the Center’s staff and the accessibility supervisor can be assisted.
