Leonid Kerbel
Leonid Kerbel is a distinguished violinist and educator, currently serving as a professor at the Royal College of Music in London. A laureate and first prize-winner of the Rubin Academy (Tel Aviv) solo and chamber music competitions, as well as the Clairmont Competition, Kerbel has performed with renowned artists such as Maxim Vengerov, Ivry Gitlis, Janine Jansen, Sidney Harth, Mark Lubotski, and Paul Badura-Skoda.
Kerbel has given regular masterclasses at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival in the USA for the past 15 years and has participated in numerous festivals, including Festival de Minimes, Festival de l’été Mosan, Festival van Vlaanderen, and Musica Mundi. He performs regularly as a soloist, concertmaster, and chamber musician across Western and Eastern Europe, as well as the USA, and has recorded for BRTN, RTBF, and USA National Radio.
