Wind and Brass Program

The JMC’s Wind and Brass Programme brings internationally recognised players from throughout the world to the JMC and other locations throughout Israel to offer concentrated workshops and masterclasses to different instrumental groups. It also brings outstanding young wind and brass players together in the form of wind bands and chamber ensembles who play together throughout the year, and offers support for pre-existing ensembles at music conservatories throughout the country.

The programme also supports wind and brass teachers across Israel by sending top players from the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and senior teachers from Israel’s two musical Academies to work directly with both teachers and their students, supplementing the students’ day-to-day studies with their broad experience and expertise, and the teachers’ continuing professional development.
